Do you ever have those days where you want to go out, but you're on a budget and you DON'T want to spend money? That's basically how my boyfriend and I feel ( all the time).
For the longest time, my boyfriend and I put off on date nights simply because it was getting too expensive. So we made the decision to go on less dates, but then when we are at home, we don't have quality time because we're busy doing with other things.
So we decided that we would go on dates that fits within our budget (we're saving up for a trip to Japan). So naturally, I looked up things to do that are low budget, free, or cheap.
I searched the internet and found some AMAZING activities that can be done as a couple, with friends or family, or by yourself (if you want to take yourself on a date). Here are 10 ways to have a date while on a budget.

Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center
Checking out the local museum. This museum is located in Anaheim and their
mission is to "engage the community in exploring and celebrating our diverse
heritage, culture and arts through creative programming."
The entrance is $7 to $10 depending on which category you fall in (Residents,
seniors, general, children) and children under 3 are free.
Some fun in the sun or shade. Picnicking at your local is park is a great way to spend quality time with your significant other, friends, and family. You can play games, watch the clouds, enjoy the fresh air, and just have fun together.
Fly to the sky in a hot air balloon
See the view from above at The Great Park in Irvine. Tickets for a single ride is $3.
The best kind of night is one where you stay in to watch a movie and it's the best low budget/inexpensive date night.
Cook dinner
Don't feel like going out? Great! Pick a day to go grocery shopping together and cook dinner together. Bonus points if it's a romantic dinner followed by a movie night.
Groupon "deal date"
What more ideal than date night? Date night on a deal. Groupon is the one place you can get discounts on various activities and dinners.
Take a walk at the beach at night
What's free and romantic? Taking a walk with each other at the beach during sunset hours or at night. Even better if you have a picnic on the beach to watch the sunset before or after you walk.
Binge watch a show
Is there a show you both want to watch? Pic a weekend when you both can stay in and binge it. Extra points for the quality time.
Learn something new together
Keep each other accountable with the new thing that you are learning together. It can be exciting and you'll have something to look forward to doing together.
Sunset picnic
Have a picnic but instead of the park, have it around the time the sun is setting so you can watch the sunset together. Also why not have a walk after the sun sets. Or before whatever you like.
