This place was on my radar before I came to Seattle. It was highly rated on yelp and I can see why. This is a different kind of waffle. As a customer I love the innovation and I appreciate how different it is to other places. As a baker, I have to wonder "is this really a waffle?" The answer is that it depends; it's whatever a customer wants it to be. I love brioche so turning it into a waffle as well as throwing brie, basil, and prosciutto on is a dream for me and that is a genius idea. They had other toppings too, but this stood out the most.
They also sell coffee there, but the coffee they had (along with the rest of Seattle) was too strong for me. I think this is more of a waffle place than a coffee place. Unfortunately, they close early, so remember to stop by before their closing time.
